Welcome to the Harmony Bar & Grill! The Harmony is a welcoming venue that’s all about old school neighborhood spirit. A bar has been here going back many decades. It was first established as the Harmony by Keith Daniels ca. 1990. In 2013 Brad Czachor & Brennan Nardi carried the Harmony tradition forward, and eventually passed the torch to current owners, Mike & Pam Barrett in September 2022. 

On this blog we’ll recount our adventures as publicans—the unvarnished Good, Bad & Ugly. 

Much of the discussion will revolve around our greening of what I’ve been calling our One Bar Global Warmer. In  the first six  months we’ve been able to slash both gas & electric consumption by over 25%. That was mostly achieved by changing our processes & habits. We are now planning significant facilities upgrades to drastically reduce the bar’s burn even further. 

To further the mission of the Harmony as a people-first place, the entirety of the back lot is being converted from parking into permanent patio space for quiet, outdoor social dining. Conviviality over Machinery—WooHOOOOOOO!

The Harmony has long been renowned for having the best bar food around. We’re now expanding that to include more veggie options, starting with our Award Winning Walnut Burger. 

In the spirit of making the Harmony welcoming of all, we carry the best gluten-free beer out there (Madison’s own Alt Brewery!), GF buns, and Non-Alcoholic Beers, Hop Waters and other Non-Alcoholic refreshments.
